View Full Version : Placed an order for the Benelli M4
My dealer is going to call the distributor to inquire about the price and availibility of the M4. My question to you all is which one should I get, the pistol grip stock or the adjustable pistol grip stock? I'm a pretty short guy and I'm not sure which one I should get.
If it used the same stock as the M1014, it is not adjustable, it is either in or out. Most guys leave the stock in, in-order to use the weapon.
Which would you recommend for me?
I have only used the M1014 and in those cases I had to shoot with the stock closed because all the way out didn't work well with body armor on.
On my personal M1S90, I took the pistol grip stock off and put a standard monte carlo style stock on. It just worked better for me.
I decided not to get it. My dealer wanted $1479 for it. That's a little more than I wanted to spend. I thought it would just be at $1000 or so.

The current market price is at least $1400. Your dealer pricing is actually pretty good.
M4 is a really nice semi-auto shotgun and worth its value.
I didn't realize that it was so much. The catalog said it was only had a five round capacity. Is that right?

The M4 comes with 4+1 capacity. It has to do with import gun laws. You can get a standard magazine tube for it which will bring the capacity up to 7+1. Also, you can load an extra round on the shell carrier for a grand total of 7+1+1.

Leave extra one on the shell holder? That is an interesting idea. This round would wobble around though.
