Does anyone make night sight ghost rings for shotguns? I recently purchased a FN SLS police, which is my first dedicated HD shotgun. I like the ghost rings on it, but I am interested in adding some night sights if they’re available. Also, does anyone have any lighting options/recommendations? I think a small light clamped to the mag tube would be the way to go, but I am unsure about who makes clamps/mounts or where to look.
Finally, I have read a little bit about HD loads. It seems that #1 buck is the way to go, followed by #4. My gun has a couple of different gas pistons for different weight loads. The standard is for loads to 1.5 ounces and the heavy duty is for 1.5 ounces and above. If I have done my calculations correctly, 16 No. 1 pellets weigh 640 grains, which is 1.48 ounces. I’d rather not push the standard gas piston that hard and No. 1 is pretty uncommon, so I’m going to stoke it with N0. 4’s. 27 No. 4’s come in @ 556 grains which is about 1.28 ounces. If I use No. 4’s, I don’t have to break the gun down every time I go to the range to change the piston. Sound reasonable?
thanks,
