Is it possible to have a stock Mossberg barrel threaded to take aftermarket chokes? I'd like to do this to my 18.5" cylinder bore barrel for turkey hunting.

It depends on the wall thickness of the barrel at the muzzle. You also have a couple of different types of choke tubes with each requiring different wall thicknesses. If I remember correctly Winchester chokes are the thickest and the 'ThinWall" tubes the thinest. You will need to check with the gunsmith you want to perform the work.

Yes, but it would be faster and little if any more expensive to buy a threaded barrel.
