NY2 Trigger Install Question

Have any of you installed a NY2 (orange 11# spring) into your Glock and found it to be a bit harder to install your slide after cleaning?

It would appear that the increased spring tension from the NY2 spring pushes up/against the whole trigger/disconnector/etc. assembly against the slide upon re-installation. It was installed by a trained armorer and function tests fine, but just seems different enough on the re-install that I wanted to ask.

i've had a 12lbs trigger and 8lb trigger for years on my model 22 with no problems. i've even changed it out a few times..have that person or someone else take a look at it again. something might have be messed up. not sure.

You are correct. The NY1 & NY2 triggers do exert some pressure against the slide, so removing and re-installing the slide does require a little more of a push... And it is different that what you have dealt with in the past regarding slide removal and re-installation. And it is totally normal.

No Worries, just give that slide a shove.
