Hi again! I'm considering taking the test for ISPC practical sports shooting, and they demand that we supply our own holster. Now, I'm used to the tactical hip holster from the Navy and I do not carry concealed, ever. Can anyone here recommend a nice, quick holster? A price under 30 USD before shipping is a plus...
Do you have a particular gun in mind?
Uncle Mikes kydex/plastic.
BladeTec injection molded. About $15 to $20.

Either kydex holster just mention. I find them just as fast as most race holsters for less $$ and easier to use.

Ok... The following will be a newbie question; do the holsters have to be a belt holster? Or can you use a hip holster with the same results. I see that Uncle Mike's make hip holsters in Kydex as well.
Definitions:
Belt holster goes on the belt with built in loops.
Paddle holster has a tight fit flap that goes inside the trousers with outside holster.
Both mount types use the same holster and ride at approximately the same height on your waist.
