Just need some input regarding a trade. I have a local gunshop n MA that is willing to trade me a 3rd gen G19 and 3 mags w standard plastic sites for my HK USP cmpact in .40 w LEM trigger. I used to be issued a second gen G19 before we switched over to G23's and really liked shooting it. You guys think this is a good trade I know in my state the HK is rare but it just sits in my safe with my 23's getting all the off duty carry time After lurking n this forum it seems you guys really like the 3rd gen G19"s Thanks Mike

Do you like the LEM trigger?
For some reason I can't shoot it for beans but I can shoot my Glock.
I say trade it!

Their both nice guns but IMO the Glock is the ultimate "Go-to" gun. None of mine have ever had issues regardless of how I treat them.

If you don't shoot it, trade it. If you liked 2nd Gen 19's, you'll LOVE 3rd Gen ..... and I'm not talking about the rails or the fingers .... seems like they feed a bit better than the older 2Gen's .... the "new" Tennifer on them also appears somewhat glossier.
Money-wise it should be an even swap. Also, the Glock would be much easier to fix if something goes wrong, since there's less parts and overall simpler design.

Mike,
You will LOVE the FiveSeven if you can afford it! It is WAAAY out of MY price range ( $800 ), and the cost of ammo is a bit high also ..... but I did pay $30 for a rental at the range ( pistol plus 1 box ammo ) ..... no recoil and VERY accurate.

Well the dealer lowballed me on my tradesfor FN and suddenly refused to do an even trade for the G19 so my quest continues.
