Hi,
How does a thread become CLOSED or how do you know if a thread is closed & who closes the thread.
Please explain to me.
~joey
Generally, a thread is closed when it violates one or more GT rules, such as posting obscenities, links to pornography, personal attacks on other members, reopening a previously closed thread, etc. As far as who closes it, it is generally the moderator for that forum or one of the administrators if a mod isn't available.
Eric (board owner) has instructed us not to explain each time we close a thread; rather, he wants us to just close it. If you look at almost all closed threads, it is pretty obvious why they were closed. Hope this helps.
