View Full Version : g19 shoots a little high?
Hi, maybe someone can shed some light one something for me. I finally made it to the range with g19 Fri. & it seems to me that it shoots a little high. Is this common with g19 or should I just get used to it? By the way I love the way it shot. I was getting very nice groups, just seemed a little high. Its a 3rd gen if that makes any difference. I had to stop at about 200rnds cause rear sight fell off, no biggie the set screw in the aftermarket tru-glo came loose. Anyway thanks for any help or suggestions.

In all reality it should hit to point of aim.but if your rear site fits the dovetail loose enough to fall out.it might be rideing a little high in the dovetail.look and see if you can see light under the site.in the dovetail.if not.they might have sent you the wrong rear site.the G-19 takes a 6.5 high rear site.they may have sent you a 6.9 by mistake.

Doug.

Take this as possible "urban legend" but I've read that Glock sights are regulated to shoot a little high at 25yds to make 50yd shots closer to POI.
Like I said, this could be hearsay...
I looked & I can see light between sight & gun, maybe it is riding to high. I think I may take it to gunsmith I know & see what he thinks. Thanks for the input.
