View Full Version : The first deer I've taken with a handgun
Small rack. Whitetail. About 125 lbs. on the hoof. The shot laser measured 88, 92, or 96 yards depending on which clump of brush was in the way at the time.

Congrats on your first!!
This was my first handgun deer, taken about 12 years ago. Don't worry about the address being shown, I don't live there any more.

I love handgun hunting! It seems a little more special doesn't it? Is that a SMITH? I shot my first deer with a handgun 9 yrs ago (doe). Last year with my wife sitting beside me I took my first buck w/handgun(S&W 625 45 Colt open sights) a 7 PT. whitetail. Good shooting & good luck! Brandon
