I get asked this all the time and there is really no place to find it, so here it is (same for all Glocks). Hope this helps everyone out there. First make sure the gun is unloaded! 1: Tetra lubes rock! 2: remove the trigger assy, 3: disaseble trigger assy fully, 4: NY1 spring with 3.5# connector (might as well change it now), 5: The NY1 (and NY2) spring faces to the front of the gun, 6: simply drop it in and give a little push until you hear it "click", 7: the punch is pointing to the NY1 spring cliped into it place, 8: reinstall the connector and trigger bar over the new NY1 spring and 9: these are the old parts you dont need, but SAVE them in a bag for later use. So there it is how to install a NY tigger spring. Its easy. Now last thing (unloaded of course) asseble the gun and dry fire test the new parts. And if this is you carry gun, go to the range and put a good amount of rounds through it to make sure it reliable and safe. I dont use it for the pull weight but rather the very clean reset. Give it a try, if you dont like it go back to stock. PS, dont pay more than $4.00 for any NY spring.
Good Luck.

Nice photos but if you have the Connector left over....well...there's an issue.

Not really, but the photo could have been clearer... in the sequence there were 2 different connectors shown...

He Swapped one out during the NY1 trigger spring install... Check step #4 ...

Perhaps the title should be "Swap out your connector with a 3.5lb, and change out the std trigger spring with a NY1 trigger spring" but what a long title...

Still, a very good pictorial documentation. A real good starting point!

My bad. I did kind of skip to the end. My apologizes 37Gap, I saw the left over parts without reading. Good pictorial. Again, my bad.

Yeah, I guess I could have made that more clear. The NY1 spring with the stock 5# connector is a little heavy, so I just use a 3.5# connector. You dont have to change it, but if you want a crisper reset and about same as stock trigger pull, then this is a good setup.

I dont like the pull weight with the 3.5# and the NY1 but I really like the reset. Im thinking about using one of those new Wolf 2# connectors and my NY1 spring. And "yes" I like it and it was worth it to me.

I don't think so but it's certainly worth playing with. NY #1 and a 3.5 connector suits lots of folks.

Doesn't do it for me, but that's me.

I ran the NY1 and OEM 3.5Lb for a while, and sure like the snappy reset.

Then I got my hands on the Lone Wolf Dist "Next Gen" (my term, not theirs) 3.5lb connector. Mate that with their over travel stop, and it's a sweeet trigger!

LWD's new connector breaks alot nicer than the OEM units do - Not *mushy* like the OEM connector...

They should be available in the next couple of weeks... Don't know the pricing yet, but it is looking like I need a six pack of em myself...
