XD45 Grip chop job?

Has anyone chopped the grips on their XD45 to accomodate the current 45 compact mags?

You KNOW you need to post pics when you are done.

Observe, Measure, visualize, Observe, measure measure, visualize...

*CUT*

Insert empty mags repeatedly to get an idea of where they locate when in the pistol. You want your shorties to hit this range comfortably.

Cut LONG, leave room to file back to the exact spot you want it.

And, DO NOT do this when you are in a rush...

Now, do it! (grin) and give us pics...

Not an XD, but a G19 down to a G19/26.... Posted the *snot* outta it on all the polished slide threads... but most would probably not notice...

Here is is - Sorry bout hijackin yer thread, but you asked... (grin)

Shoots well, but lately have had POA/POI issues - might be a slippery grip... so I have a *fresh* solder iron with new tips to file and tin... should I need to burn the grips...
