Thinking about the Coast Guard

The reason why is I'm not having any luck getting LEO job. I have an extremely clean record. I just came out of the police academy. I have 36 college credit hrs. I'm very healthy and physically fit. I love anything physical/training wise. If in a month, defiantly by January, I'm going to have to start searching for something else and I've got the Coast Guard in mind. Does anyone have any information/personal experience about the CG??

I've ran through all my facts and the CG seems to be the only military service that interest me right now. But either way, LEO or CG is going to be a life altering decision and I want it to be the correct one.

Thoughts or opinions??

Join up for 4 years, then see how you like it. You will get out what you put in. Much better options than the other services IMHO. I have yet to meet a Prior service Coastie who doesn't like it better in the CG than their old service.
