SIGSAREBETTER 11-27-2006, 20:41 In my area the Tacoma, WA, PD approves the G21 as well as the G22 and a few Kimbers. The Pierce Co. Sheriff approves it as an authorized duty weapon, as does Denver, CO, the LAPD at least DID, and the Albuquerque, NM also allows it. Anchorage PD and the AK State Troopers also use it. Rusty I think you mean the ambi magazine release as the 21sf doesn't have an ambi safety or any manual safety at all. If anything a loaded magazine in a 21sf is Harder to release than the regular 21 not easier. I've never heard of any mag dropping problems at all. GMAN40 10-26-2007, 10:57 Wright Twp P.D. ETA: I think the G30 was authorized after a few officers had trouble with the size of the G21's grip. I wonder if they're considering the G21SF?
