This subject has probably been beat to death, but I did a search and didn’t walk away with a succinct answer and thought I’d give it another try.
Do you guys have any pet loads to use for IDPA matches for .40 cal?
I started reloading my .40 cal several years ago with Universal Clays, then AANo.5
These loads did ok, but wonder if there was a better recipe that would make IDPA Power Factor but provide the least recoil?
I had preferred the 155 or 156 grain bullets, but I’m not sure if they will make PF. Where is the tradeoff between bullet weight, accuracy and velocity? Are the 180gr and 200gr bullets required to make PF?
TIA
