Testament to the power of the 10mm round? Was the gorilla stopped in one round?

Well guys I think that gun is awesome.....
My only preference would have been to keep the front finger groves if that where possible.
I was thinking that I could get by without another 10mm but maybe not any more..

Yeah... I have a question. Why does Joey keep posting pictures about his heavily modified glock. He already posted the exact same thing and after lengthy discussion it was closed by the moderator.
I'm thinking that he must be associated with Robar and is helping market these things. Frankly, Mark of Arizona Response Systems in Surprise Arizona can do the exact same work, do it better and for less money than Robar.
BTW, I have extensive experience w/ Robar here in North Phoenix and I stopped doing business with them after they screwed up a gun and then attempted to blame it on me. Oh, Robbie, I don't forget...
It was a SIG P-226 and they broke a rear sight vial on my Trijicon sights. (Note: This was before they put in disclaimers about tritium sights) Oh, and THEY ALSO BOTCHED THEIR OWN FINISH. I was checking the gun out when I went to pick it up and the cashier / receptionist seemed to be in a hurry so I settled up with them and then began walking out the door.
Once I cleared the door and got a few feet (literally) down the walkway I noticed that their finish did not completely take on one area of the frame. I immediately returned to the office and showed the receptionist.
The owner, Robby Barrkman then came out and looked at it and asked me what I did to it. I replied "nothing, I just now picked it up and noticed this as I was leaving."
After giving me the Third-Degree, he seemed irritated and then had one of his "gunsmiths" meet with me and I waited another 2 weeks to pick it up. It was that evening that I finally had my P226 back that I noticed that the rear sight vial was broken.
Robar refused to repair it. So I found a local Police Uniform Shop that replaced the entire rear sight for free. The reason the sight vial broke? Robar did not possess the sight pushing tool necessary to remove Sig sights, so they just pounded it out with a hammer and punch. (I found this out from somebody who worked there)
Mr. (and I use that term loosely) Barrkman lost my business forever on that one.
Personally, for refinishing I'd rather do business with (in no particular order) Accurate Plating & Weaponry and Arizona Response Systems.
The only gunsmiths that I will allow to touch my guns (as of right now and in no particular order) are Don Williams of The Action Works (Chino Valley Arizona) and Chuck Rogers of Rogers Precision (Prescott Arizona) and Ted Yost and his fine crew at Yost-Bonitz (Tempe, Arizona).

Interesting. I had not even shot my G29 before I sent it in to robar for an NP3 finish. It turned out great and I had no issues. Then again maybe Im lucky I didnt have them modify my sights.
Immediately upon having the firearm returned, I had a seperate individual install the sights. (tru-glo brite sights)
Only the NP3 looks good IMO, everything else is pretty much butchery. The lasermax is cool, but the spring for it isnt, I prefer to take DT's advice and use the 21-22# spring.

Eeeew! It looks like someone took a lighter or a torch and melted the grip.
I've seen much better grip jobs posted here.
I like Mark at ARS, but I've seen his grip reduction for the Glock and it looks like this also. I was not impressed at all. Its a shame because he does great work otherwise.

Well Joey, I think it is a very nice gun, and you should be proud of your investment. I am wondering what affect a steady diet of hot 10mm will have on the substance they used in the grip reduction. My guess is that it won't have an affect at all, but you never know. That's quite a piece, so pay no mind to the negativity.

LOL about the ugly/fugly comments... I mean, seriously, I didn't buy Glock pistols because they were pretty to begin with, LOL. :)
I've seen better grip reductions, but I've seen much worse, too.

You do know that LaserMax uses extra weight W.C Wolff Spring Company springs don't you?
Factory Standard: 17 Lb.
Wolff Extra Power: 19, 21 and 23 Lb
I know for a fact that LaserMax uses the extra power springs by Wolff in their internal laser sight.
If you don't believe me call them yourself.
Have a question? Please them at 1.800.LASER.03 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST
As far as that goes, I bet they would use any spring you ask for. I am sure you could send your LaserMax sight to them and they will switch it out for you.
LaserMax stands behind their sight; it is the only NATO approved internal laser sight.
Actual excerpt from www.lasermax.com
“The Only NATO Approved Laser Sight for Handguns.
Law enforcement departments and military organizations around the world, including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), specify LaserMax for their personnel.”
They are more than willing to adjust their product to your point of aim choice, as well as solve any other issues with in reason.
I like Robar's NP3 finish on the slide, barrel, and pins. Don't know if its just me but every time I see a Glock frame that has been altered - it looks like the grip was in a fire. I'll keep the standard frame.
