I recently purchased the BE 9 mm after getting to shoot one at my local range. Sweet.

About 2 clips through a friendly strangers BE and I was sold. I could not believe how great it felt in my hands and so dead on target. The weight and grip and hand position to me far exceeded my expectations. I should also be receiving the hogue grips as they were highly recommended so I ordered them, but I don't even know if I'll install them as I am so pleased with the BE 9mm as is straight out of the box. It came with 2-17 round mags too! Everything's bigger in Texas, really!

Has anyone shot both the 9mm and the 40? Does the .40 feel just as good and controllable as shooting with the 9mm? If this is the case, I'll be hard pressed not to think about selling my g3 glock 22 or take it in trade for a BE .40.

I haven't fired the 9 or the 40. But I used to have a BE .45 in brushed stainless. There are times that I wish I hadn't sold it. It was comfortable, easy to shoot and ALWAYS on target. The next time I have $650 laying around with nothing to do........
