Hello, I recently purchased a Glock 21 and I am planning on shooting it in IDPA CDP division. I have been shooting my 1911 in IDPA. I am switching because my department is switching from Sigs to Glocks and I want to shoot just one gun from now on.

Have any of you competed with the G21?

Does anyone know for sure if grip reductions and stippling are legal in CDP? Reading the rules makes me think that it is, but I would like to know for sure before I start into it.

Thanks.

After reading the rules again, it appears only to be illegal in SSP division...

A bit confusing, as they specifically mention grip reductions as "Not legal" for SSP, but do not mention it as legal or illegal in CDP...

(I hate to give you a definitive yes, it's legal, and then be proven wrong...; you might need to call Berryville, Arkansas on that one!)

Thanks - now to get on with the grip reduction. I'll post pics once the project is complete.
