I recently installed the olive tigger spring and a glock 3.5# connector in my G21. About the third time I took it out to shoot I had a few problems first a case seemed to remain in the gun so I had to rather forcibly rack the slide to remove it. Then after a few more rounds it would fail to fully go into battery about an eighth inch plus. then it shot fine and fed the next 50rds or so. Next time I went shooting it did the same thing failure to eject followed by failure to go into battery even when cycled by had after a mag or so cycled by hand it started working again. I was firing aguila FMJ and winchester JHP. Any ideas on this? It is my primary carry gun so I need to get this resolved ASAP!
Thanks for any help you can provide.

First thing I think of when a pistol fails to go into battery is an overly tight or dirty extractor, or dirty or unsmooth breach face. Causes the case to hang up on the extractor/breach face. But that has nothing to do with the trigger work you did. Worth looking at anyway.

Yea, should have mentioned I tried that, no dice.Guess I could strip the extractor out one more time just to be sure. Thanks though.

Sounds like an extractor issue.
Have you checked tension ?
Well, let's see.... The thing you changed was putting in a trigger spring that pushes your trigger bar up toward the bottom of the slide, instead of pulling down like the old spring, then you start have problems like failing to chamber/extract that can be cause by something interfering with the slide. Sounds like it might be another case of crappy NY trigger spring. The first gun I put one in I had to take the slide apart and pull out the striker to disassemble the gun because it was pushing the trigger bar up too high to let the slide come off the frame (yes, it was installed correctly and snapped into place).

what happened when I put that same combo in my G22. I thought at first I had done something wrong but that was not it. Trigger bar as pushed up too high to allow the slide to come off.
How did you resolve it????
Replace the NY olive trigger spring or something else???
I like the feel of the 3.5 connector and the #1 NY trigger but its not worth the hassle to disassemble....
Thanks
