I have a Gen 4 GLOCK 19 and i love the piece. I paid $409 LE price plus tax and NICS,more or less $445, i bought a used G19 Gen. 1 for $283 today out the door, in an excellent condition . Will tell me how is a Gen 1 and Gen 2 differs.The Glock 19 im talking about only have a 10caps ,no tac rail, compare to g19 i bought ayear ago with 15 caps and tac rail.I really appreciate this info.

There's only 5 known 1st Gen 19's, which is safe to say that you didn't pick one up for <$300. 1st Gen has a pebble smooth grip, 2nd gen has no finger grooves, but has checkering on the backstrap and frontstrap, 3rd Gen has finger grooves with rail.

There is no 4th Gen yet; maybe at SHOT next year
