i got my first .357 sig today!

its a sig 229 with stainless slide and accessories.

i just took the 229 to the range. this was my first visit since buying it. the gun was perfect. i cant fathom getting rid of this gun ever. the recoil was nothing like what ive heard it would be. i cant believe people think its too snappy. to me the 357 sig seems like an ideal round. strong, small enough to hold a high cap., and almost not chance of ever having a FTF. at ten yards this thing blew out the center of my shoot n see.

time to buy more ammo...

nonetheless, that's a damn good looking pistol, I just can't stand the bore axis, otherwise i'd own one too.

school me on the difference btween the sig 226,228 and 229?:banana:

226 full size.
228/229 mid size.
226 = 9mm, .40 and .357.
229 = same.
228 9mm only.

226 mags fit 228/229 in appropriate calibers; stick out a bit.
