In the middle of the slide on the inner ledge, there is a wear mark on both sides of the slide. The metal has been pushed up into the inside of the slide. The left is worse the the right. Any ideas? (sorry for the poor pics..the best I could do)

Thanks for the info, figured it was something like that, just never happened to any of my other Glocks. Never seemed to get any worse was just curious what it was from. Have about 600 rounds through it.

Some do it, some don't. I've had 1 Glock out of 6 that did this, an early Glock 17. It's a non-issue.
The newer Glocks do not peen. Different locking block. If it gets too severe the slide will start cutting the lips of your mags. Not a big deal to fix with a stone.
