I'm picking up a slightly used 2nd gen G22 with 2 lo-caps this weekend for $300.
Besides feeding it well and gettin' some hi-caps, what else do I need?

I usually pick up an extra factory recoil rod for my range bag. I don't think they break too easily, but for the price, it's nice to have.
Also, get some 185Gr ammo, mine shoots the 185 better than the 230. I use 185gr Speer lawman for the range and recently picked up 185Gr Doubletap for home defense.

Be sure to get some G21 mags to replace those G22 ones...

Don't now why I typed 'G22' up there.
It's a G21 with two locaps.

Get at least four hi-cap magazines.
Get a good holster ( I just got a C-Tac which I really like )

Thanks for the replies guys. I took it to the range today (picked it up sunday). It came with two 10 round non-drop free's. Fortunately I ordered two hi-caps from Cope's that came in this morning, so I was able to take them with me.
One thing... I pt 100 rounds thru her. At one point, I was firing not quite rapid fire, about 1-2 seconds a part. I think it double fired on me!! This is my sixth Glock pistol, so i'd like to say that I didn't double squeeze, maybe I did. But it sure seemed like it fired off twice.
Anyone else ever experience anything like that?

After you fired you alowed the trigger to reset (it only takes a small part of an inch)I have done it also it seems like a chain fire but it isnot. Slow down a bit.

You may or may not have experienced a true double. The trigger reset position on the Glock is one of it's really excellent strong points. (If you hold the trigger back between shots, it don't take much to get the pistol to fire that 2nd time!)
If you discover that the pistol really is doubling on you, first take a close look at the cruciform/FP lug connection. If it doesn't appear to have been worked on, then, simply install a new Lone Wolf 3.5# connector.
You may, also, need to upgrade to the new #4256-1 trigger bar, new SLB, FP safety plunger, and firing pin. Right now, though, I'd say that doing all of this would be going too far. Take it a step at a time.
Surprised nobody has suggested night sights! ;)
