Where would you send a Kimber CDP for a Bob Tail?

They do good work, are accepting work with less than a lifetime wait, and bobtail for $80.

They did this one a couple of years ago for me, STAINLESS II, a great job and outstanding trigger work.

I'll keep them in mind for my build.
CCR will do them as well. Something to consider is that you'll have to refinish when done.

I did my Commander myself. Not that big of a job if you're handy and have at least a drill press, Dremel, files and something to make the first cut on the frame (I used my band saw). The Jig isn't needed.
Patience is your friend. ;)

I kept the CDP the way it is and decided to buy one already done. This is a Kimber Pro Carry HD II with the bobtail , slim aluma grips, a Nolan match trigger job, and Wilson night sights.

You will like that one, I did the work on it a few months back and had only put enough rounds through it to test it out before I let it go because I had come across the CDP and bobtailed it.
Enjoy

Am I understanding you that you DID THE WORK ON THIS GUN? Wow, I got it from a GT member here in DFW.

 You did a fantastic job on mine. It is sure a God given talent. I have done nothing, but admire mine since I got it yesterday. I am thinking about sending this one off for the melt down.

How do you drill a new mainspring pin hole without the jig?
