Have you ever field stripped a modern auto pistol before? If not take it to a gun shop and have them show you.
Remove magazine...empty chamber. The pistol is now empty. Right? Triple check for safety.
Lock slide back.
Flip extractor towards the front of the pistol. It is hinged and spring loaded. It will stay in place once it is flipped.
Release slide.
Pull slide back so that hash mark on the slide lines up with the finger lever portion of the slide release.
Push on slide release lever stud on opposite side of pistol. The slide release lever should move out away from the frame.
Continue to pull on lever. If this is a polymer frame remove lever completely. If this is a metal frame pull until lever stops.
Remove slide by pulling forward.
At this point barrel, spring and guide rod remove like most other modern pistols.
Again if you have never field stripped a modern auto pistol got to a gun store or gun range and have someone show you. Otherwise wait for the manual...
I think you can go to the Rugers web site and down load manuels. Pops
Got info already. It was easy. Thanks guys...
