It seems that my Dawson Precision FO front sight on my G17 isn't getting much light in order to illuminate fully when I'm shooting matches indoors.(Very Low Lighting) I'm looking into putting a front Night Sight on to use indoors, but I can't seem to find any that match up with Heinie Slant Pro rears. Can anyone point in me the direction to find a front night sight .125" wide x .225" tall that will work with my Heinies? I really would appreciate the help and info.
Thanks,
Mike

Did you try Heinie (https://www.heinie.com/)?

Be warned, the Heinie Straight 8 night sights are very dim in comparison to other night sights on the market. If you want maximum brightness, the straight 8's won't even get you close.

I've looked on their site, but I have not seen where they offer just the front night sight for sale. I suppose I could call Monday and ask, but I was just seeing what other Glock shooters with Heinie Slant Pro Rears use, or have done in my situation.

Any recommendations on what I should do? I'm guessing thinking about a new set of Rears as well as Front?
You might want to look into Trueglo TFO sights that have night sight in front of a fiber optic insert. I'm not sure if they are the right size or if you can get the front separately.

Huh? The ones I have look about as bright as the Trijicons on my G26, and they probably have the same "lamps".

I've used Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight sights on my Glock for two years now. The sights are very bright at night. It's also much faster to align the front dot over the rear on the Heinie's in a low light situation than it is to do with 3 dot sights.
I would order the complete Slant Pro Straight Eight set. You can also get them from Brownells: Heinie Sights at Brownells (https://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=6872&title=SEMI-AUTO+STRAIGHT+EIGHT+SLANT+PRO?%20SIGHTS)

The straight 8's on my 35 are nowhere near as bright as Meps or Trij's. I purchased them from CGR (race cut). Maybe they sat around for 5 years before I bought them.

I've seen that happen. It's a good thing to ask Brownells or wherever you intend on purchasing the sights as to their shelf history. If they are older, sometimes you can get a deal. Again, mine are two years old and still bright.

A couple of points.
1. I have fronts in stock, cal me if you need one.
2. My tritium sights are always fresh stock.
3. The exception was an older batch I sold at a deep discount with full disclosure of the date the gas was installed.

If you decide to buy the OEM Trit. front, direct, be sure to find out what they charge for postage before ordering.........
