A New Shotgun

Finally got me a shotgun, well, a social shotgun anyway. I've had a few over the years, but not in the past 10 or 15 years now. Picked up an 870 with the synthetic stock and 7-round mag extension on it out of the box. It could use a sling and a Trituim front bead. I don't know about a sidesaddle. I think if seven won't do it then five or six more probably won't either. Just have a mussette bag next to it with a box or two in it. Don't know about the light, either. Don't want it out on the barrel where I can't turn it on and off at will, and the forearm lights are awful pricey. I'm sure someone out there has an opinion.

Forend Surefire lights are pricey but worth the money if you are serious about a home defense shotgun.

Rail lights are excellent alternative with much lower price.
