View Full Version : SureFire Integrated Forend Shotgun WeaponLight ?
Any experiences with this light system?
Almost the same cost as the 870 Express.

It's worth it. Period.
I use a 6P on a Vltor Scout mount on my M4 at work, and the ability to maneuver without fumbling with a light is critical when working in near-dark and dark situations, even though I have NVGs and IR laser aiming capability.... they don't do well at short range, the light is for that.
Having been on the recieving end in a hostile situation of the light in question (lit up by some U.S Marshals).. you won't see much for a few minutes after being blinked.
Thanks. It looks like it would be worth the investment.
Is there any kind of flashlight/shotgun technique out there that I could use in the meantime?
Ian,
I'm an authorized Surefire dealer. Before you order from Surefire, send me an IM. I can probably save you some $$.

I love mine. I got an SC1 pellican case and a spare bulb assy from www.lighthound.com to keep an extra assy and 6 batteries in.

I love mine, worth every penny. Looking back, it should have been the very first modification I did to the 870. Now it's the last thing I would take off.

what kind of case do you guys carry your 870s in. I have the knoxx specops stock with the powerpack (2nd best mod) and the surefire 618fga (1st best mod) and i have been looking for a good case to carry it in. also one last thing www.mesatactical.com has a 8 round side saddle for the left side and a 4round side saddle that mounts behind the ejection port and i'm thinking about adding this. Opinions please.
how tight does it fit? is there any twisting play?

I have a 6-shell side saddle from Mesa Tactical on my 870 and I cannot say enough good things about it. The quality is MUCH better than the Tacstar side saddle, it holds the shells alot better and is actually a little lighter than the Tacstar.
It is pricey, but it is worth the money.

neeko as far as fit there is no twist or play in the forend whatsoever it fits very tight and it's very comfortable and very well balanced.
