I was just wondering if any other Mossberg 590 owners out there have swapped out their plastic stocks and replaced them with wood? I am contemplating this change and would like to see a photo or two if anyone out there has one to share. Thanks!

I scavenged up a wood stock for a cut-down job. The wood is easier to work with than the composite. It turned our well. I did paint it black to match at a glance. When I see that gun again, I'll take a pic and post it.

Ok, I borrowed a stock set from my friend and put them on my 590. I kinda like it. I am just wondering what the opinions are of others? Sorry for the lousy picture...it is the best I could do.

Looks nice! If you're not into that "bad black gun" look (which I am, but I realize not everyone shares my tastes) that's the cat's pajamas.
nice, I like the break up!! good deal

The stock set came off an old Mossberg 500. I borrowed it to see what it would look like on a 590. I am surprised that no one asked about the coffee makers yet. I have 2 coffee makers because I can make one pot of coffee for me and one pot of tea for the lady friend at the same time. :)

With that 590 set up you do realize what will be required of you right?
You will have to sweep through trenches handing out a fiery fury of God, kicking *****es and taking names and then throw away the list!
VERY NICE! Reminds me of the trench guns of WWI and WWII
