I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info on this. I'm supposed to be trading for a C-more scope that I was told is the same as the Colts because they made them for Colt? I've seen the colts but never head the c-more thing. Cant seem to find any info on this.

Pass on the C-Less, unless it's for light, occasional, recreational use. It's marginally better than the Tasco and BSA dot scopes, but not by much.

Are you talking about the reflex/red dot c-more stuff they sell now? This is supposed to be the older style like the Colt AR 4x tube looking scope. I came across a post on falfiles with pictures and they are supposed to be pretty nice sturdy pieces.

Agree. Pass on the C-more optics (much better options out there).

This is what I'm talking about. These are supposedly the same or almost the same as the "Colt 4X21" scopes. They are supposed to be high quality. I have it now and it does seem to be of high quality. This is not to be confused with the C-more products that are for sale currently which are reflex and red dots.

I got bad news for ya, the real deal Colt 4X21 wasn't all that good so a clone/copy is going to be even worse.

And like the scope, depending on the context of use, they may be right.

I would agree with that statement as well. ;)
You get what you pay for in glass. Cheap doesn't buy quality.

Besides that optic design is old and limited by its small 21mm objective size.

And I plan to use it on a rifle design that has been used by our military for 40 years or so. It should suit my needs fine. I'm not a bullseye sniper mega shooter. Its a fine quality piece.
Looking forward to trying it out. I have not had a chance to shoot a rifle with optics yet. Well, other than my old crossman pump classic :snoopy:
Simple solution - carry the Cmore in the stanger.
negative x negative = positive
Enjoy.

So you only wanted to hear good things about the scope?

I guess so. The problem is that there really isn't anything good to say about the optic (which is why no one has come into this thread to sing its praises).
