Speed Six

I am making a holster for a guy who has a Ruger Speed six.
It has no serial numbers on it only,SFSD. I have seen a gun marked SFPD for Sanfrancisco police department, but what is this? Anyone know, just curious.

I Googled "SFSD officer" and got several references to the San Fransisco Sheriff's Department, so I'd say that's probably it.

The serial number on this model should be on the bottom of the grip frame; if the gun has rubber or oversized grips on it, you may not be able to see the serial number unless the grips are removed.

If, on the other hand, the serial number has actually been filed/ground-off the weapon, or otherwise removed, I believe any person possessing such a weapon is in violation of Federal law. Just FYI.
