View Full Version : Bullpup conversion of mini-14
Greetings.
Has anyone tried a conversion kit to bullpup configuration with a mini-14?
Does it work reliably?
Opinions? Experiences?
Appreciate any pertinent input.
Thanks.

My experience is that it sucks, in a variety of ways.
I have one. I've used it. It is a fine piece of equipment.
By the way, mine is for sale. How much would you take to take it off my hands?
I am curious about converting one of my mini-14's, not in the market for another one.
Thanks.

:laughabove: :animlol:   BTW, Kilroy, I understand your post and I wouldn't charge you anything to take it off your hands...I'd let you ship it to me for free.
What a pal!!
You can't pay for favors like that.
Of course if I did pay you to take it, my location would have to be anonymous in case you actually tried to use it.

It has the absolute worst trigger of anything I have ever tried, including hot glue guns, chaulk guns, and cordless drills.

Yeah, you could mail it to me from an anonymous post office box and I would eat...er, no I'd make my kids eat the box and shipping label so it couldn't be traced.

A new description standard for some of your evaluations?
I offered up my particular POS a few years back.
No takers.
The buggered up trigger linkage caused a real AD. Weapon fired without a boogerhook anywhere near the bangswitch.
I will cheerfully put your address as the return address and drop it in a mailbox with a 3 cent stamp.
The maraca-like rattle as the empty brass bounced around inside the plastic stock was cheerful. Right up until it bounced somewhere important.
I never actually found out if it hit anywhere near point of aim. Plastic sights carved out of picnicware by the lighthouse for the blind.
