View Full Version : SA 'loaded' Champion
I am considering obtaining a Springfield Armory 'loaded' Champion in stainless steel. I would appreciate a little feed-back from members who own the afore mentioned pistol.

I have just purchased one a few weeks back. I love it! After a few more rounds it will become my carry piece.(Not 1 misfire yet!) I find the value quite nice for what you can get. Sure there are other makes out there and it took me many months of consideration. I just went for the SA and I think I made the right choice. It is going to have to be up to you to make that decision that you will be happy with.
Good luck and keep us all informed of your decision.

RickJZ;
Mines the milspec parkerized LW champion, it runs like my SA gov model that I've had since 82. That is to say, it has no problems at all.
I like the weight when it gets hot out here in the desert summer and heavier guns are just too much.
If you like that platform of 45, I'd think you'd be safe on getting an SA.

I HAD aa older champion in 40 cal. from springfield and it never functioned right(crap groups, ftf,fte,ftrb).I currently own a smith and wesson 45. 5" and have nothing but good things to say about it :thumbsup: hope this helps
