dend off for the wolf spring kit for the gp 100.youll receive 4 trigger return springs and 4 hammer return springs.the hammer return are supper easy to change go to the lightest then match the trigger return spring to the lightest.if you only do the hammer spring your 90 percent better right there.the hammer spring is in the grip so thats a good indication of how easy that will be.the trigger spring is in the trigger modual.easy to shange but more difficult than the hammer spring.if this trigger spring seem too hard forget it .like i said 90 percent of the improvment is in lightening the hammer.i still get 100 percent ignition from the nuber 8 spring .reduced from 12 or 14 lbs.
the cost is like 9.99 plus shipping and jhandling.under 20 bucks and you get 4 or 5 sets of lighter springs.

I'm with spober, Wolf springs were the best thing I ever did to my GP-100. Just be careful during disassembly, one of the little springs that turns the cylinder flew out when I took mine apart and I had a heck of a time finding it.
thanks for the replys, i'll give that a shot!
Same goes for the SP101's....My first sp101 I owned, I dont think Wolf springs were around at that time. Mid-90s, if they were...I didnt know about them. Best I did myself was a little hand polishing and lots of shootin'. That little sucker never got past "stiff", but did smooth up some.
Now that I see wolf has these kits...next baby ruger i buy will get that treatment.

I took my SP101 to my local gunsmith and he smoothed it out for under 20 bucks. Don't pay too much for the work. He indicated it was a very easy job based on the fact that ruger produces guns to tight spec's. I am very happy with what he did for me.
I did my own on my SP101 with the Wolff springs. It was easy with a Dremel and polishing wheels and polishing compounds.
