Rattles in P99 mags

Like the subject says... All three of my P99 9mm mags have a rattle when fully loaded. (1 10rd, 2 15rd).

As far as I can tell, the rattling stops when the mags are inserted into the mag well...I presume that the extra pressure caused by the top round against the bottom of the slide compresses the spring just enough to stop the noise.

Any solution to the rattles when the mags aren't in the pistol?

It is normal for the P 99 mags to rattle a little. You may want to give the loaded mags a slap in the palm of your hand.

I have two mags (one 15 round and one 16 round) and they both rattle. They both work perfectly.

I'm not concerned at all about reliability of the mags... I just don't LIKE the annoying rattle. ;)

I know on my KelTec mags I had to kinf of bend up the top of the mag spring to give it another few MM of height.

That took care of THOSE rattles. Perhaps it'll work on these as well.
