View Full Version : Speed Sights
If anyone out there is looking for a good inexpensive set of target sights, check out www.speedsights.com. I have had an opportunity to try several different styles out and they work great. Sight aquisition and follow up sight pictures between shots is fast once you get used to them. Their current sights for sale are plastic but are very durable. You can change out the colors to different color combinations depending on what works best for you. They are a local company in my area so I have also had the opportunity to try out a set of steel sights which I think are a pretty top notch target sight and have a diamonds instead of triangles. As of right now they are only available for Glocks. Take a look!

How is three triangles better than three dots?

They look quick but it also looks precision will be tough or greatly slowed with a weird horizontal reference.

You're able to triangulate the BG's position better! :)
You just have to try them. The dots are good but 3 white dots just kind of blend together. The color combinations seem to make a big difference in sight aquisition along with the three tips. I was sceptical at first but thought what the heck and was pleasantly surprised.

Have you guys seen these? Sort of a similar idea. I'm intrigued by all these these triangles, but I've standardized on conventional 3 dots and can't bring myself to unsimplify my system.
The premise of the SureSights is that you've seen triangles all of your life, so the brain will instinctively line up the front and rear sights so as to form a completed triangle.
Got a set on order.

You've seen most basic geometric shapes most of your life. I'd like to see some more background before I believe a claim like that.

How often do you see circles perfectly lined up?
So far, and all I've done is some Beamhit dryfire, it has lived up to it's claim. I'm going shooting tomorrow morning; I'll see if it lives up to it's claim then.

I imagine it's going to be a lot like most everything else of this sort. It will work for some people and not for others. If it works for you, great. I'm sure we'd all be interested in seeing your range report.
