Lasermax G29

Well, I already have my stock G29 spring replaced with a 21# Wolff spring but I decided anyways to talk to Lasermax about their offerings. Pretty good news they had at first, they would sell me a G29 lasermax for 300$ plus they would throw in a free custom alignment, which normally costs 125$, but since Im active military its free. I was rather dissapointed when I found out they won't use anything but a 16# spring for it, no if ands or buts, they wont replace it.

So my question is, is there any way in hell to get a 21# spring for it? I don't know much about the laser/guiderod but I figured someone here might know something about this. I honestly shoot 95% doubletap ammo, and I want to stay with DT's recommendation to use a 21# spring only. Thoughts?

I never concluded whether or not the heavier recoil spring could in fact be used with the Lasermax guide rod in the G20, but it appears that it might be possible.

It may also be possible to put a Wolff recoil spring on the Lasermax guide rod in the G29.

I shoot DT exclusively and just couldn't get comfortable with the idea of a 16# spring Lasermax in my G29. I wasn't concerned with hurting the gun as much as destoying a $300 laser sight.

I put Crimson Trace grips on the G29 and couldn't be more pleased. Lasermax is a good product, though. I have one in my G36 and it has worked without a hiccup for over 500 rounds.
