View Full Version : Insight M6 question
I'm thinking about getting the Insight M6X laser/light combo, except I can't figure out what the difference between the SlideLock model and the Rail Grabber model is?
I can't find anything on the manufactur's website that says what the difference is. I have a G27 and a G23 so would the rail grabber be for guns without the picatinny rails?
The slide lock is spring loaded and allows quick mount/dismount without tools.
The rail grabber requires a screwdriver, but is very secure and accurate.

I have an M6. It's pretty cool, but I think the lazer is a waste of money, but a nice toy. I wish I'd just gone with the M3 and saved a few bucks.
Thanks butch. And jobob I'm interested in hearing why the laser is a waste of money, are they not very accurate? Because I was also debating if the laser combo is worth the extra $200.

The X-variants of the M3 and M6 are improved over their predecessors, but not enough. I have yet to see an M6 laser hold a zero for long.
Recommend you look at the TLR variants for a light/laser combo.
i have a lasermax unit in my g22, i use the m6 with the red nav light instead of the laser. in combinatin with the lasermax it's worked well as a home defense gun. the red nav light is just bright enought to move by and not so bright as to advertise your pos.

I have an M6 (PM me if you want to buy it:supergrin:.) It has been a good light/laer w/ no zeroing issues. Quick attachment/detachment w/ a spring-loaded lever. Some will say lasers are for people who can't/aren't able to shoot with their sights
