View Full Version : newb 2 black gun stock question
I just broke my black rifle cherry with a bushmaster AR-15 with a rock river arms colapsable stock, I would like to go back 2 the standard A2 buttstock, do I have to buy the entire buffer tube and spring assembly or can I just get a stock and swap that out,
Also is there anyone here who has swapped out their A2 buttstock that would like to sell it to me?
You would need the whole A2 assembly.
I have am A2 butstock I could sell you, it's in excellent condition.
I'll send you a private massage.

Does the A2 fit you okay?
It is too much of too much for some of us.
The A1 stocks are out there new (Cav Arms) and used from various vendors; they fit the same tube.

roomate has the A2 on a rock river and I love it, seems to shoulder great even with 2 coats on, I think I'll keep the colapseable and use that for another project

You must have very long arms, most people the A2 doesn't fit. Especially in heavy clothing and/or body armor.
In my case, both.

berk, you're the guy it has to fit.
I'd peddle you my A2, but I'm holding it if I ever want to resell the gun (not likely!).
New A2s are certainly out there.
Good luck and enjoy.

I must have simian arms I guess cause it does fit me good, I think I'm gonna leave the colapsable on this one for the tacticool look, but I'm starting a 20' build and thats gonna have the A2 4sure
