What would be the benefit of replacing the factory guide rod with the stainless steel guide rod? It would be on a CW9
Thanks!
...or for a PM9! I hear some people say they go with Wolff, but which #?

Corrosion resistance and better appearance.
Is the recoil spring in a CW9 captive? The stock spring in my MK9 was captive, but the Wolff replacement is not. You gain the ability to change or experiment with springs easier & cheaper, but you have to be a little more careful when field stripping the gun that the springs don't go flying away.

No, they are not captive in thw CW9. I think its just the short barreled PMs and MKs that have a captive spring.

Wolff spings and guide rods are NOT available for polymer Kahrs. Only all steel K and MK series - sorry.

$24 for a SS guide rod for the CW9 from Kahr, I should have it soon!
