Has anyone ever converted a Ruger Buckeye 10mm into a 10mm magnum?
The 10mm magnum's OAL is 1.555 so it should easily fit in the ruger. Also the massive Ruger should be more than strong enough to withstand anything that the 10mm magnum can dish out.
Opinions? Comments?

a 10mm what?
I was reading Einsteins theory of relativity just now, and I dont think anything can exceed the speed of light like you are talking about.

While feasible, I don't see what would be accomplished that would not be accomplished quicker with a .41 magnum.
In a 610, you would still be able to use 10mm loaded in moonclips. the single action Ruger would be dependent on expensive single source brass.
In a single action I believe I would rather have some thing like the .41 GNR, if my goal was to have something both different and powerful.
In my 10 Mag 610 I can shoot 10mm Magnum, 10mm and 40 S&W. Pretty versatile, no practical use but a helluva lot cheaper then a custom GNR, especially if you have a Ruger and just need to re-chamber.

I think that I am going to contact a shop that can fit another cylinder for me and have it chambered for 10mm magnum. I do not really have any incentive to shoot .40 in it as I can easilly load 10mm to the same velocity and I do not have to worry about losing my brass with a revolver.

I haven't converted mine, but I plan on having a custom cyl. made by Bowen in the near future. For collector reasons, I'd prefer not to alter the Ruger cyl. Ruger also made a short run of Vaquero's in .38-40/.40 S&W that could provide a cyl. for the conversion if necessary.
Single-source expensive brass isn't a concern....read my signature line. That's just a fraction of the toys & only the ones relative to this board !
