Over at Rugerforum.com there are some posts by PANZER which discuss the poor fit and finish of Ruger products. PANZER makes accurate and logical statements and almost all of the responding Rugerforum.com members jump all over PANZER. There sure are a lot of defensive and closed minded people over at Rugeforum.com. I like Rugr firearms, but I agree 100% with PANZER, there fit and finish is poor.
It's no different than if someone came to Glocktalk and posted a similar post in General Glocking, they would be flamed and be called a troll.

That's strange I was able to register in November while a month before that I heard they wern't taking new members.
That's weird. I did however have to use a different e-mail because they wouldn't take a yahoo.com address, which is what I use for all online forums (I keep it separate from business)

Well its not me.I am panzer1,so if anyone see my post just remmber that it's not panzer1 its panzer.
p.s. I have just one ruger an its a sp101,and I like it a lot. It's my frist wheel gun I fined that I am geting in to wheel guns.My next wheel gun will be the ruger gp100,357,4'barral.
And we should care because..........????
If Panzer doesn't like Rugers he should get something else. Plenty of other brands to choose from, if he feels he can get a better deal from some other company then why's he wasting his time on something he's not satisfied with?
Tell him to get a Glock and all his troubles will be over!

Hmmm, I have a yearly paid Yahoo account since I left SBC/Yahoo for Road Runner access at my apartment. That ruling is bull fecal excrement!

Hmmm, I read the thread though I didn't participate and you seem to forget his starting off by calling the Ruger management idiots and Americam workers lazy and stupid and advocating moving the production of Rugers to China because of their superiority over Americans. Wow, who would have guessed that would have generated backlash on an American based Internet forum for people who like Ruger products. At least now we know for sure there is a troll network out there unless, hmmm, no, you couldn't be PANZER himself could you? Now go back and crawl under your bridge before you get hit by a stray beam of light Junior...
Well said Mr. Palmer!

So anyone who doesn't agree with your stupid opinion is a "Nazi" or "closed minded"?
Why are you and Panzer the only ones allowed to speak freely?
What because you guys "think" you're right, that means no one else should be able to contradict you.
If Panzer is calling American workers lazy and stupid, and thinks Ruger should move it's production to China, he's a first class jerk-off.
And if you support these kinds of people you're either stupid, a jerk yourself, or Panzer.

Give us a break there Mr. Arrogance, as if you're just so clever and smart.
I comprehend what I read just fine, and it's really obvious you and your buddy Panzer are nothing but trolls looking to cause problems.
Sorry but I'm not going to get hooked by your trolling.
Good bye.

Though I may or may not agree with them ;)

very well said
also i didn't take panzer comments as being all so bad. he made his point based on his "personal" observation.
Now 4 me I wrote a nice letter to Ruger giving them  and congrats on the 3 newly acquire rugers i bought in one year. I'm also looking forward to seeing more ruger firearms and creative ideas. I also glad we have an American Business produce qulaity items and at a affordable price.
My last ruger was a P89 before I bought 2 45colt revolvers and a Mk2. Fit finish was great for a consumer grade firearms. I've looked at a few other ruger firearms and plan on buying a few more, based on just these 3 plus the other stuff I've had.
Now the quality, fit, finished might have drop over the last decade or so, but what do you expect? Almost every firearm company from SW to Ruger and all of the alpha characters before and after has had these same complaints.
Gunmfg need to make a profit and offer an affordable weapon what are we to expect? So a purrfect lines,finish,fit,etc... is going to cost you more. What I would love to see that would squash these "ruger quality sucks crowd", if Ruger-strum woul over let's say 3 grades or like what Freedom Arms does.
1 field
2 prime
3 collector
etc...
and charge accordingly to the grade.
See a personal like me would be just as happen carrying his/her field grade ruger that he bashs upside of a bag, truck, rock, tree, bench at the range,etc......So the exact perfect fit would not be of an concern with me. Nor do I consider or bought my pieces for any collector value.
Most of the rugerforum fans that are quick to bash panzer , don't realize; "you can't get a porsche quality like car at a taurus like price".

I read the comments over at rugerforum.com. I own a Ruger KP95PR(owned a P345 and KP512) and from what I can tell the finish on all the rugers were just as good as the finish on my more expensive S&W 3913TSW. Panzer had his problems with Ruger and he voiced his opinion. I on the other hand have nothing but good things to say about Rugers.

Were you reading his open letter thread? I saw a number of things in there which went beyond his "personal" observations and he certainly went about it in a manner to maximize the offensiveness of what he was saying which is what a troll is all about. And just like junior above, he got downright nasty and started launching personal attaacks as soon as people disagreed with him...

IBTL...
LOL jk :-P
I looked at Ruger's today at Gander mountain and as far as I can tel Ruger revolvers are have the best finish I have seen on them in years.
The blued ruger GP100 variants had a Dark black business like appearence with no frame errors I could see.
The Vaquero's look awesome and the stainess was uniformly brushed.
The Grey 44mags hunting revolvers with the grey telfon finish had NO imperfections.
Frankly, the S&W were the ones which looked rather poorly finished with a brushed stainless kind of look.
The REAL scare was the glock section. The glocks had warped frames bent up to in the front AND the slides had some haning far back and not lining up with the end of the frame.
FURTHERMORE the front sights on the glocks are falling off. 2 different glock models had loose front sights and one had fallen off!
POOR quality control I though on glock's part. The guys there say the sights are falling off when an idiot that works there picks them up and hits the edge of the case when lifting them out. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen the front sight off laying in the case. GLock platic sights are a lot worse than they used to be.
Trolls, like PANZER, are close cousins to gremlins... and shouldn't be fed at all, for the same reasons.

not everyone can drive a Mercedes or BMW or Porsche...you get the idea
not everyone can afford to buy HK's or Beretta's or SIG's...you get the idea
I consider Ruger's (except their revolvers which are very close in price to Smith & Wesson's) and Keltec's to be affordable & well built products that suffer from aesthetic perfection
I consider Glock's, Springer XD's, and CZ's to be moderate priced and a compromise between the expensive stuff and the affordable stuff listed and offer good balance of function & aestheics; FN Herstal USA and Magnum Research products are in there also and gaining ground...
BTW: my magnum revolvers are Rugers and my CCW lightweight revolver is a Smitty...no semis at this point in my life
My last two handgun purchased were a Charles Daly, el cheapo made in the Phillipines and the other was a Ruger SP101. I very regretably have to say the workmanship on the CD was much superior to the American made and more expensive Ruger. The Ruger was coarse with poor workmanship. The CD wasn't exactly a Les Baer, but was unfortunately head and shoulders above the Ruger.

Smith and Wesson forum is the same way. They won't accept Yahoo or Hotmail accounts, which really sorta sucks since that is all I have. Lucky for me I joined when I had a provider account. I don't have it any more, but I don't get e mail notification of post replies either.

Yep. Me too. Don't know what they've got against 'hotmail', but I'm not gonna change the e-mail I've had for ~ five years now just to talk about Rugers. 'Taint worth it. :)
