View Full Version : glock 30 weapon light
anyone have any opinion on what would be my best option? the streamlight tlr-1 looks nice for the money.
They are very nice. My Lt sports one of the TLR-1's on his G22. I carry and M6 on my G21 and plan to sport it on my new G30. The only other light/laser combo I'm contemplating is the TLR-2. I would not get the light and laser seperately, just my preference I guess. As for a light only, I like the Surefire x200. I like the additional momentary pressure switch option it offers stock without modification.
thanks for your help from another bay area shooter.
The TLR-1 is a nice light at a great price.
We use SureFire X200 A & B, along with LaserMax and tritium sights.
Unlike BLS439, I like the separate systems, with the laser inboard in the pistol.
All equipment has proved 100% reliable, YTD.

the regular size lights like the tlr-1 and the m6 fit the glock 30 no problem right? or are they a little long ?

The TLR-1 is a bit chunkier than the X200s, with similar length.
To give you an idea, attached are SureFires X200 A & B, on G21 and G19 respectively.
The beam pattern on the TLR is somewhere between the SF A & B, but more like the A's. At over $100.00 less, the TLR-1 is a great buy!
Hope this helps. :wavey:
