Hi All,
I have a Kahr K9 that I purchased in the beginning of this year. I had an opportunity to take my little gun to the range today and shoot some FMJ rounds through it. My shooting session today reminded me what a great gun this is! It has about 1300+ rounds on it so far and it's been a reliable and reasonably accurate little pistol.
I'm not sure if my trigger action has gotten smoother (it seems like it has) but I am now comfortable with the trigger and I am able to shoot the gun fairly accurately. Today I took the gun to the 25 yard range (I was also shooting a Kimber 5" 1911) and I was able to keep most of my shots within the largest circle of a 25 yard slowfire pistol target. I figure this is pretty good for such a tiny gun.
when I first got this gun, I over-lubed it. I had read that this gun runs well with lots of oil. However, I eventually started using less and less oil on the gun. Currently, I lube it in a manner similar to the way I lube my 1911's. I find that if I don't use too much oil, the gun stays much cleaner during my range sessions and I don't develop the oily sludge that I kept noticing during my original range sessions.
Anyway, I hadn't shot my little gun in a while, but I'm happy I took it to the range today. What a fun little pistol it is.
