I posted this in two other forums also, so I'll try here too.
Went into the local Wally World today for a few last minute items, and decided I had better pick up a few boxes of 45 ACP while there. There was not a single box to be had. Wal-Mart has been out for about a week now , and no idea when the next shipment will be in. So I visited my local gun shop, and damn if they weren't out too! All they had in stock was 230 LRN. I asked where all the 45 ACP was and the clerk said,
"We are at war."
Well, no **** Sherlock! We have been for some time now, but this is the first time I've seen a shortage of 45 ACP ammo. I figured if there was a shortage because of the war, it would be 9 MM.
I have not noticed any shortage of any other consumer products due to the war. Does this sound like a true reason to you?
Where the hell is all the 45Acp ammo at?
