hehehe what other parts do you have in mind for your project? what barrel are you going to use? i have gone through the 1911 bug my self. I have a caspian government model. i've tried the cmc trigger set on my norc commander, its a nice cheap drop in trigger job.i breaks at a crisp 2.5lbs. but i don't think its meant to be custom fitted since its MIM and only the surface is hardened, maybe when its cut too deep the hard part could be gone. i know a smith who got a 1.7lbs trigger pull with this set by adjusting the springs.I think its probably the same trigerset that Kimber uses.
