G30 converted to 10mm

My boss is selling his G30 Serial#FLS*** and I was wondering can I convert this to a 10mm?would the G30 be just as duriable firing 10mm DT loads as a G29?Last question would be if yes to above questions do I need a different recoil spring or can I use the one from the G30?
