I've got a dilemma on what to buy the pros and cons ect...
I'm thinking AR-15 DPMS "The Agency Rifle" AP4 with A3 upper. I'm also planning on adding a vertical forearm grip and a red dot.

Any other suggestions, opinions? I live about 30 minutes from DPMS so I figured as far as parts and service they're a quick drive.

The "Agency Rifle" appears to be DPMS's answer to the RRA carbine that won the big DEA contract.
My honest opinion:
Get the next rifle down on the list, the AP4.

You'll save some money immediately, get a chance to shoot and get acquainted with the carbine, and most importantly, won't be obligated to buy the "Agency Rifle" accessories. I am not a fan of the Mangonel rear sight, and you might find that a different grip or light fits your needs better.

I will second that motion. Go with the Panther AP4. You can always tailor it to suit your personal taste later.
Here is a website you may want to visit. They sell two versions of the AP4.
http://www.rguns.net/009_5.html ($775.00)
http://www.rguns.net/009_33.html ($900.00)
You can shop around for an EOTech 512 and a BUIS (A.R.M.S., Troy, LaRue, etc. ) elsewhere for a decent price. I also recommend trying the ERGO Sure grip before hand just to make sure that it is something you would want. I have a Falcon Industries "ERGO Grip" on my M4gery and a Hogue on my SBR. Both are great grips, but they are not for everyone. Weapon lights are great if youare setting up the weapon for CQB work. My SBR has one, my M4gery does not. Again, you could probably shop around and find one to suit your taste.

I agree with both of the previous posters. Too much $ for options that may not be just what you want/need and you can accessorize the rifle to your desires after you get it broken in and you are familiar with the AR platform.

The second link looks pretty much like what I want. I didn't think that "the agency rifle" came pre-pimped with all the lights and what not, I though it was pretty much just an AP4 with an M4 front stock.
Also, What about the cyro-freeze option for the barrel, is it with the extra bucks?

so basically this:
Product Description Price
AP4 Panther™Carbine
Model: RFA2-AP4 $899.00
+
Current Carbine Handguard to: M73 Quad Rail from SureFire
Model: UG-M73 $190.00

I just need to shop around for a better price and find a vertical front hand grip.

Check my previous post regarding the prices. You can get the AP4 with the 4-rail handguards for $900 at RGuns. That is less than $1089.00. The base AP4 (RFA2-AP4) is only $775.00. I would suggest giving them a call (847-428-3569). Shipping will run you $15.00 (UPS). You would only have to find a FFL dealer to do the transfer for you. You will pay a transfer fee (usually $20-$30), background check fee (usually $5), and any applicable taxes.

NICE!

Just go to a gun show and stop at the DPMS table and you will get a really good price on a ar15. Dustin will get you into a ar15 at a much lower price than what you posted.
on the cryo-freeze thing...I think that's only something you'd want on a match grade barrel. if its a 'for fun and plinking' AR then I'd skip that treatment.
whatever the final rifle setup you go with, I'd also spec it out as though you were going to build it...or specifically, buy a complete upper with bolt carrier group, and then build your lower. the lower is easy, only takes a roll pin punch or some vice grips, and a $6 buttstock wrench. Takes about one hour your first attempt.
you can easily save 11% on the final cost by going this route...possibly more depending on which lower receiver you get, which lower parts kit, or if you happen to find a complete lower on sale for a great price (which is common).
plus if you build your lower, you can polish your trigger, replace springs, and put in a nicer trigger for less than what DPMS would charge you retail.
like I said spec it out once you have a retail price on a whole rifle, and see if its worth it. I put my M4gery together, with a cheap red dot for about $750.

mine's all Stag parts. the scope isn't mounted yet when I took this photo, and I added a 3-point sling (homemade with parts from ACE for about $10).
Sooo many options!
I bought a DPMS A2 complete upper in March at a gun show from the DPMS table for $300 that was marked $400...In June I bought a DPMS A4 lower with the 6 position collapsible stock and a JP trigger(normally $129)for $330...total cost of rifle...$630....why build when you can just buy complete uppers and lowers and just put them together? DPMS does their best to put a rifle in shooters hands and their customer service is top notch...
