G20 mods

Getting a G20 today 6 in Jarvis comped barrel.I want this to be my house gun.Carry a G36.Own two other 10's S&W 1006,EAA Witness.
Have got the 10 bug,but i really wanted to get all out of this gun that a 10 has to offer with the Glock platform and the longer barrel.
Any input would be great,this forum is what got going on 10mm thanks guys.lol.Trying to explain to wife why its IMPORTANT to own three handguns that fire same round..lol:chatter:

What kind of sights? I have the Heinies on my G20 and their great!

I'd recommend a good set of nite sights. I'm not so sure about using a 6 inch barrel for home defense, it's just not going to give you any advantage. Nite sights and DT's excellent 165gr. Gold Dots are all you need.:thumbsup:

I just picked up a 6" Jarvis for mine; I love it! I personally don't see how the longer barrel would have any kind of negative effect on your home defense gun, so I would say use it if that's what you like.

I'll second the night-sight thing though. The best multi-purpose sights I have run across are the TFO's by TruGlo. They utilize Tritium and fiber optic material so your dots glow bright at night and very bright in the sun. I ended up replacing my Trijicon sights with the TruGlo's and I have not been sorry!

Well im going to keep the 6" and some change barrel(ckd. the length,weird fron the case seat to end of barrel 6.5 inches,and yes i know where to ck from)Its a $200.00 fitted Jarvis.Nights sites going on it today at my FFL now.
I like heavy round i read all the DT info at top of thread that 180
Golden Saber looks good.I know the lighter wont have the penetration that the 180 gr. does.I live in like a suburb inside a city its St.Louis South city we have a few of them.
The only part that concerns me is when my .357 mag(which has been my house gun 15 yrs.Till i bought a Glock did NOT trust my life to a semi-auto)It always had the hottest 125 gr. i could find i knew even if it went thru it would expend most of its speed in the BG.
The 10mm after shooting it now for a while with DT hotload the thing feels ,and sounds like a damn rifle.lol..

The DT,GS 180's look great, but checkout the 165gr. Gold dots!
