I've got a Remington 870 Express set up for HD, with a Speedfeed stock and a side saddle. It's the 18" version with the factory +2 extension. I want to get a sling that'll allow it to hang on my front, flat against my chest, so bringing it up to fire will be a natural motion. I've heard talk of one-point slings but have never really understood the phrase. Pictures of your setups or even links to where I can buy one would be great. Thanks!

I purchased a Daniel Defense sling adaptor for my dept, issued 870 and a single point sling. I hadn't used it much until last week. We had a local manhunt for two suspects and I used it then. I love it. It allows me complete use of my hands for other things and the gun just hangs vertically where I can get it up very quickly.

Thank...the daniel defense adaptor looks like just what I need. What sling did you purchase to go with it?

It was a specter 30 mm stealth.
I also use the Daniel Defense 870 single point sling mount. I use the Wilderness Tactical single point sling with their QD adapter. http://thewilderness.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_8&osCsid=9225b672fa3a0e1432487e28d8b0fdb3
