Brand new Kimber

I am happy to say I have now joined the ranks as a 1911 owner. Ever since I was a kid I have wanted one, and this Christmas provided an opportunity to purchase one with the help of my parents, brother-in-law/sister, and a portion of my earnings. I can honestly say the wait was well worth it. On the 26th I took my new Custom II to the range for its first session with the understanding that it might have some feeding or extraction issues during the break-in period after seeing numerous posts on different forums. Well as it turned out, the darn thing ran 100% perfect like a sewing machine with the supplied Kimber magazine and a CMC 8 round Power Mag. For an entry level Kimber this thing is amazing. It just has a completely different feel from my Glocks and the accuracy is super. Nobody likes reading new gun threads without pictures so I snapped a couple quick ones to post up!

Very nice! I almost got one of them but then decided on the Pro Carry for the smaller Commander size.

Decided to spend a little more and got the TLE, 300 rounds and counting now, no failures of any kind.
